I flew to Japan on 4/10, arrived on 4/11.
I traveled to Turkey last year, got a Turkish Karasumi/Mullet Roe which is a food product made by salting mullet roe drying in the sun light.
We joined Bosphorus cruising, landed last stop, took a walk in the seaside little town and saw the process making Mullet Roe on the street.
This is Karasumi/Mullet Roe I got in Turkey which is covered by wax.
Little salty but tasty, good with white wine!
I and my mom had soba kaiseki lunch @Tsuchiya in Higashi Murayama city. We wanted to celebrate our big effort for the all title change transaction.
This place is a cozy restaurant located in local town which I grew up.

I visited Seiji Togo’s museum and saw the charity exhibit for Tsunami.

I visited Kawagoe with my friend which is a local old fashioned town. This is the old pharmacy store.

We joined the Matsumoto soy sauce factory tour where they make soy sauce in a old fashioned style. Their soy sauce is very tasty because they fermented soy sauce for 2 years.
I visited Nezu Museum and saw the Camellia exhibit.
This is a isle to the entrance, which has beautiful bamboo bushes.
I walked in the garden after I saw the exhibit.
Snow fell few days ago and did not melt yet.
I saw a big Heron in the garden.

I went to Toukaido 53tsugi exhibit by Hiroshige at Suntry Museum in Roppongi. It was fun exhibit I really enjoyed it. After I saw the exhibit, I had a lunch at Fumuroya which is a famous wheat gluten store.
I visited Monzennakachou which was very crowded for new year shrine visit.
I returned Japan again for my dad’s 49th day memorial event.
