I made baked bamboo shoot with sweet miso for the class on 4/24. Bamboo shoot is in season now, fresh ones are only available in short time period. If you boil fresh one, of course taste better.
We ordered burdock and squid tempura at the Japanese restaurant, it was very tasty. So I made it at home.
But when I deep fry squid, it has water inside, the oil splatter all over and it’s very dangerous. I will not make this at home.
