I harvested red shiso leaves from vegetable garden, they grew so well this year.
Red shiso leaf/which has a effect to prevent pollen allergy.
Boil in a pot
Strain and add sugar and vinegar
Red shiso juice/taste sweet and sour, very refreshing
In a cup/very nice color too
Chopped strained red shiso leaf
Add soy sauce and mirin, and cook. This is Chirimen sansho, good with steamed rice.
