2018/08/18 The Art of Sushi Class

I taught The Art of Sushi class to who love real food from scratch. Fortunately I harvested all vegetables from garden this morning such as shiso, Japanese cucumber, turnips, fudansou, green onion, they are super fresh.

They are young couple and husband grew up home made healthy foods, so he knows real foods taste.

Especially they enjoyed fresh sashimi & Japanese cucumber which is crunchy & tasty.

He asked me “what you are eating everyday?”, then I think about what I am eating and answered “Most likely I am eating vegetables from my garden everyday, because I grew so many vegetables in my garden.”

I grow variety of tomatoes, shiso leaf/green & red, chayote, Japanese pumpkin, rhubarb, turnip, mizuna, okura, banana pepper, green pepper, trefoil, green onion, eggplant Gretel, Japanese eggplant, fudansou, black soy bean, stalk broccoli, Japanese bell pepper. Harvested last weekends.

There was a storm few days ago, and Runner bean shelf was blow down with strong wind. I need to pull out Runner bean.

Chinese Cabbage got Bagrada bug, I need to pull out some Chinese Cabbage, Turnip, Komatsuna. I only could pinch them….

2014/09/19 Today’s harvest & Runnuer Bean

Today’s harvest from vegetable garden. I still have lots of tomatoes.

I kept Runner beans from last year. I cooked with Shuttle Chef. It took me for 30 minutes to cook, just kept in Shuttle Chef!

2014/08/07 Today’s Harvest

I did not go to garden yesterday, so I visited garden this morning. Three Bosnian tomatoes were dropped from the stem because they are heavy.

Japanese pumpkin did not grow well this year, I only harvested one.

2014/07/17 Summer Vegetables

I harvested tomatoes, Japanese eggplant, Japanese cucumber, Kale, Norabo leaf from garden. The big tomatoes are Bosnian tomato, which is huge and juicy.

I seeded runner bean end of March, but all new leaves were eaten by snails……I seeded again in May. Applied egg shell around leaves, finally they starts growing now.

2011/08/12 Yellow Tail & Vegetables from Organic Garden

My husband’s friend gave us super fresh yellow tail which her husband got fishing.

I harvested black soy bean, Japanese cucumber, Japanese pumpkin, eggplant, belle pepper, butter lettuce, Mizuna leaf, Morocco bean and green onion from vegetable garden.

Just boiled fresh black soy beans, very sweet and crunchy.
